Of chewing gum and baboon theives...

Now it is not a good idea to feed wild animals but sometimes they help themselves. Like on Jo and Mike's recent trip to South Africa when a baboon on Chapman's Peak (near Cape Town) spotted an opportunity.

The story of the gum eating baboon is beautifully told in the attached comic of the event which Jo created and shared with us. (Click to enlarge). The bag was finally retrieved minus a some gum. Also lost: a few pounds by Geoff from energetic mountainside retrieval efforts. Thanks for sharing Jo.
